# Accumulation / Distribution Line (ADL) Accumulation / distribution line: a running total of volume weighted by where each bar closes in its range, tracking money flowing in or out. ## How to read it - A rising line means closes near the highs on volume: accumulation. - A falling line means closes near the lows: distribution. - Divergence with price warns that a trend lacks volume support. ## Key settings - No period input; line colour and width only. ## Good to know - Drawn in its own pane below the chart. - Read the direction, not the absolute value.
