# CVD
Cumulative volume delta: the running sum of aggressive buy minus sell volume, showing which side is in control over time.

## How to read it

- A rising CVD means market buyers dominate; a falling CVD means market sellers dominate.
- Price rising while CVD falls (or the reverse) is a divergence: the move lacks aggressive support.
- Read the slope and the swings; the absolute level depends on where the data starts.

## Good to know

- Drawn in its own pane below the chart.
- For marked divergences at price swings, use CVD Divergence.
