# Volume Heat Hours
Volume heat hours: each clock hour tinted by its volume against the average of the same hour over recent days, to spot unusually busy or quiet hours.

## How to read it

- Warm tints: busier than usual for that hour.
- Cool tints: quieter than usual.
- Unusual activity at a normally quiet hour often comes with news or a breakout.

## Key settings

- 30 days averaged.
- Background opacity; hour strip on.

## Good to know

- Drawn on the price pane, over the candles.
- For bars of one hour or less.
