# Liquidation Profile
Liquidation profile: where long and short positions were liquidated, in USD by price level, stacked in one bar per row over the current period, each UTC day or the bars on screen.

## How to read it

- Long liquidations (red) pile up where price fell through crowded longs; short liquidations (green) where it rose through crowded shorts.
- The Liq POC is the price with the most liquidations; a thin line runs back over the range to it.
- Large clusters often mark capitulation or squeeze levels that price may revisit or respect.
- Each bar's liquidations are spread over the prices it traded, weighted by its volume at price where footprint data covers it.

## Key settings

- Scope: Visible range (default), Current period (day, week for 4h–1D, month above) or Session (one profile per UTC day).
- Row size auto (about 25 rows) or a number of ticks; value area 70 %; threshold hides small rows.
- Bar width 12 % of the chart; hollow bars, value-area background, behind candles, values with decimals.

## Good to know

- Drawn on the price pane at the right edge; next to the Volume Profile and the Open Interest Profile when they are on, never on top of them.
- Crypto perpetuals only: other markets show “No data for this market” in the legend.
- Liquidation history depends on the venue's feed; the newest bar updates live.
