# Trade on a second device

Your wallet lives on one device, say your computer. You can still trade from your phone, without moving the wallet or its private key.

## Hyperliquid

1. On the second device, open Market Open signed in with the same Himbit ID and tap **Trade from this device** → **Send request**. This device creates its own trading key; the key never leaves it. While it waits, it shows what to do on the other device: open Himbit Markets (smc.himbit.com, or the app on your Home Screen), sign in with the same Himbit ID, and connect the same wallet.
2. On the first device (where the wallet is connected) a **Device request** appears by itself, with a 10-character code. If that wallet isn't connected there yet, it asks you to **Connect wallet** first.
3. Check that both devices show the same code, then tap **Codes match — Approve**. Your wallet signs one approval.
4. The second device can now trade.

If you're signed in on the first device and turned on notifications there (**Alerts** → **Turn on**), it gets an **Approve a new device** notification, on the lock screen too. Binance key requests notify the same way. The device that asks is never notified itself.

Hyperliquid allows each wallet only a few extra API keys, and the limit grows with your traded volume. If they are all in use, the request shows **Key slots are full** with your Himbit keys and a **Replace** button on each. The new device takes that key's slot, and the replaced device stops trading until you approve it again. The key the approving device trades with can't be replaced.

The approved key can place and cancel orders. It cannot withdraw or transfer funds. You can revoke it any time from **Connections**. If the codes don't match, tap **Deny**.

## Binance Futures (beta)

1. On the device that has your Binance API key, choose to send it to your other device.
2. Both devices show the same 10-character code. Check that they match and confirm.
3. The key is sent end-to-end encrypted. Himbit's servers can't read it.

Use a trade-only key restricted to IP 103.200.20.162 on Binance (Binance requires the IP restriction for futures trading), and never enable withdrawals on it.
