Rate of change: the percent change of the source over N bars, momentum expressed in percent so it compares across markets.
How to read it
- Positive values: price is up over the window; negative: down.
- Extreme readings show stretched moves that may slow down.
- Crosses of the zero line mark momentum shifts.
