Session Volume Profile
Session volume profile: one volume profile per UTC day or exchange session, inside its own time span, with the point of control and value area.
How to read it
- Each session's POC is its most traded price; the value area holds the chosen share of volume.
- Value areas that overlap day to day suggest balance; shifting ones suggest trend.
- Prior sessions' POCs often act as reference levels.
Key settings
- Session Daily (UTC), New York, London, Tokyo or Weekly.
- Value area 70 %; profile width.
Good to know
- Drawn on the price pane, over the candles.
- Uses recorded footprint data where available, otherwise the candles.
