Volume Profile
Volume Profile: volume per price row with the buy / sell split, POC and value area, to see where the most trading took place.
How to read it
- The POC is the price with the most volume; the value area holds 70 % of it.
- High-volume nodes tend to act as support / resistance; low-volume gaps are crossed quickly.
- Naked POCs (not yet revisited) are common targets.
Key settings
- Mode: Session (default), Visible range (VPVR) or Fixed bars (150).
- Session Daily (UTC); value area 70 %; row size Auto or ticks.
- Naked POCs on (up to 5); placement Left or Right.
Good to know
- Drawn on the price pane, over the candles.
- Uses recorded footprint data where available, otherwise an estimate from candles.
