Volume Footprint
Buy and sell volume traded at each price inside every bar, from the live trade stream, to see where aggressive buyers and sellers were active.
How to read it
- Each row shows sell × buy volume at that price inside the bar.
- Rows where one side clearly outweighs the other are imbalances, often near turning points or continuation.
- Heavy volume at the bar's extreme with no follow-through can signal absorption.
Good to know
- Display mode (Split, Delta, Total, Cluster, Imbalance Only, Ladder), rows and imbalances are set in Footprint settings.
- Also available as a chart type. A heavy indicator that uses more memory.
