Volume
Traded volume per bar, coloured by bar direction, to judge how much participation stands behind a move.
How to read it
- Tall bars confirm a breakout or a reversal; moves on falling volume are weaker.
- The moving average marks normal volume; bars under twice it are drawn at half strength.
- Colour follows the candle, or the previous close if you choose.
Key settings
- Currency USD (average price OHLC4 × volume) or Coin.
- Volume MA on, length 20; highlight spikes on.
- Placement: Overlay at the bottom of the price pane (default) or Own pane.
Good to know
- Overlay by default; switch Placement to Own pane for a separate pane.
